An architectural gem in North London. A stunning red brick Grade II listed building set in 12 Acres of landscape memorial gardens. Owned by the London Cremation Co the management team proudly honour its heritage whilst offering contemporary and supportive services.
HISTORY IN BRIEF
Golders Green Crematorium and Mausoleum was the first crematorium to be opened in London, and is one of the oldest crematoria in Britain. It opened it’s doors 1902 designed by Sir Ernest George and Alfred Yeates in an Italianate style.
Throughout it’s extensive history Golders Green has be chosen by people of note including Sigmund Freud, Bram Stoker, Ana Pavlova, Peter Sellers, Ronnie Scott and Marc Bolan.
