HISTORY IN BRIEF
Owned and operated by the Corporation of London, City of London cemetery opened its doors in 1956. Laid out but William Haywood it was founded to address the over crowed church yards.
The East & West, burial chapels are of traditional architecture.
The North & South Chapels were redeveloped and boast classic 1970’s architecture, white, light and airy.
