St Marylebone is one of the LCC group (London Cremation Co) and is owned by The Cremation Society of Great Britain
aka East Finchley Cemetery.
It is important to note the St Marylebone Crematorium is not in central London, it is located within the 47-acre East Finchley Cemetery in North London.
The site was initially established by the St Marylebone Burial Board in 1854. The cremation chapel was added in 1937, created to meet changing funeral needs.
The Grade II listed chapel features Italianate architecture This traditional building remains light and airy. It is impressive whilst remaining warm and intimate. (The team at Thereafter are big fans)
