A Tuesday night social of undertakers, funeral director, poets. artists and those interested in death, hosted by the maverick undertaker Ru Calender at The Social, London. It was a great night to launch Ru’s latest book. ‘What Remains’ is a brilliant insight and great read on Life Death and the Human Art of Undertaking. An informative and entertaining conversation with Bill Drummond was preluded by a reading of the brilliant Salena Godden from her poetic and rich novel, ‘Mrs Death Misses Death’. It’s a rare occasion when such a group gather under one roof. Sharing in stories, experiences, understanding and beliefs of can only but be healthy to fuel a more progressive and death positive society.
